It is straightforward to complete your Fire Risk Assessment online. The whole
process from start to finish is carried out online.
Visit our website www.fireprecautionservices.co.ukand register your organisation. You will be asked to choose a username and
password and supply an email address to which your completed fire risk assessment
will be sent and complete our registration form. Payment is then made online
using any credit or a debit card via the secure Paypal hosted website. You may
also make payment via Paypal but you do not need to have a Paypal account to be
able to pay online. The cost per questionnaire is £75 plus VAT.
Once payment has been made, you are then able to access a list of Fire Risk
Assessment questionnaire types. Select the most appropriate questionnaire for your
business and then 'Start New Questionnaire'. The fire risk assessment is in two
parts - Part 1 concerns the premises, location, structure etc and Part 2 deals
with the activities carried out within those premises. Questions are mainly
answered with a simple Yes/No answer. You may save your information at any time,
or the system will save each completed page for you, so you can take as long as
you like to complete your fire risk assessment.
Once you have paid for and/or started your questionnaire, you can access your
fire risk assessment at any time, by selecting the 'Already Registered' button
and entering your username and password in the 'Log In' screen.
Once you have answered all the questions, the system will produce an Action
Plan detailing required remedial actions. These will be divided into three
timescales, short term, medium term and long term. Please ensure that you have
answered all questions correctly and honestly before proceeding to the Action Plan
stage as you will not be able to amend any answers once you reach this stage of
the process. The Fire Risk Assessment and Action Plan, supplied in printable
PDF format, are emailed to you together with a Fire Safety Log Book, for
monitoring and recording, a Fire Evacuation Policy and staff training information.
Technical and administrative Help Desks are available should you require
assistance with the completion of your fire risk assessment.
If you complete your original Fire Risk Assessment online with Fire Precaution
Services you will then be able to update or complete an annual Fire Risk
Assessment for a reduced fee of £35 plus VAT.
